Climate change is one of the very serious and so far unresolved problems of the human society. The appearance of the warming trend and the increasing frequency and intensity of extreme events caused by the high ratio of anthropogenic greenhouse gas emission are partly hidden by the natural variation of climate, therefore people tend to perceive this problem to be less serious than it is.

It is sad to say, but one can do little against climate change without effective global scale cooperations.
